The article presents the rules created by Bob Meyer, president of advertising agency Meyer & Wallis, for supermarkets to follow in creating and executing more effective marketing programs. Adaptation of supermarkets to evolving customers is important to the success of the business. There is also a need for supermarkets to recruit marketing people from outside the industry.
