The article reports on the share development of UBS Investment Bank, a Swiss bank based in the U.S. As its profit margins dropped by 21% in the third quarter and 30% of the fourth quarter in 2005, it was investigated by the country's Securities and Exchange Commission over U.S. Treasury bond prices manipulation. However, its revenue from the merger and acquisition industry revealed a 35% increase.
