The article provides information on an international Standards Portal launched by the American National Standards Institute and the National Institute of Standards and Technology, in cooperation with the Standardization Administration of China. The portal, www.standardsportal.org, contains information on the structure, history, and operation of the U.S. and Chinese standards systems in both Mandarin and English.
