ABSTRACT
The article reports on the results of a study conducted by e-mail delivery firm Return Path regarding the blocking of all permission-based commercial e-mail by Internet service providers during the first half of 2006. It reveals that spam complaints are used by the providers as the primary factor in determining whether to block incoming mail from a specific sender.
