ABSTRACT
This article offers ideas on marketing to Generation Y consumers. The purchasing patterns of this generation is discussed, as well as their love for computer technology and digital media. Information is presented on Generation Yers' self-concept and sense of individual identity. The effectiveness of using of a word-of-mouth approach or grassroots marketing to targeting this group is explored.
