ABSTRACT
The article reports on the acquisition of Saint Louis-based Serta Mattress Co. by National Bedding Co. (NBC), the largest licensee of Serta Inc., in 2006. With the acquisition, NBC has 22 manufacturing facilities and gains a 90,000-square-foot plant in Saint Louis, Missouri, and a 50,000-square-foot assembly plant in Kansas City, Missouri.
