The article is about how security threats and attackers are now professional. The author suggests that business enterprises take steps to stop the professionals who want to steal valuable information by searching for vulnerabilities in the applications and exploiting them. Mentioned are several security vendors such as Cisco, Radware, NetContinuum, Imperva, Citrix, Breach Security, Protegrity, and ConSecurity Networks. According to the article, application threats can come in the form of viruses, worms, rootkits, malware, attackers exploiting Web application vulnerability, and internal users gone bad.
