Uhde lands Chinese MTG contract

The article reports that China's Shanxi Jincheng Anthracite Coal Mining has given Germany's Uhde a contract for the engineering and supply of a methanol-to-gasoline plant. The plant is part of a complex on a pilot plant scale, being built at Jincheng, Shanxi province, 600km southwest of Beijing. This complex also includes a fluidised-bed hard-coal gasification plant and a methanol plant.
