Poland's Ciech ups price to secure deal

The article reports that Ciech has agreed to pay for majority stake of epichlorohydrin and toluene di-isocyanate producer Zaklady Chemiczne Zachem. This was disclosed by Poland's treasury ministry. The ministry said that the two sides had also signed a deal to sell Ciech 80% of state-held Zaklady Chemiczne Organika-Sarzyna, an epoxy, polyester, phenol-formaldehyde resins and pesticides producer.
