ABSTRACT
The article reports on the capital investments of Azko Nobel. The firm spent € 339m on capital investment in the first nine months of 2006, roughly in line with capital expenditures over the same period last year, plus a further € 320m this year on acquisitions. Quarter-three figures show that sales have increased by 5% to € 3.5bn, and operating income up 14% to € 364m, led by strong performances in the Organon pharmaceutical division and coatings.
