ABSTRACT
The article reports that November 11 is Veterans Day. It was created by the U.S. Congress in 1954 to honor the men and women who served in the U.S. Military. U.S. armed forces members receive awards for their military service. Some examples of medals are presented such as World War II Victory, Vietnam Service, Southwest Asia Service Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal.
