The article presents corrections and additions to the second part of the list of records of Diptera in Yorkshire, England. The total number of diptera species in the provisional county list was 4009, and the number is increasing due to research. Presently, a disproportionate number of species are known from Yorkshire, and students of dipterology need more information to enhance their knowledge of the county fauna. Till December 25, 2005, the number of species excluded from the provisional list was 148. There were errors of identification, and typographical errors in the list. The new report includes reasons for the exclusion of species and names within a family. Families containing more than 100 species in the provisional list include Limoniidae, Mycetophilidae, and Chloropidae.
