ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the sales performance of the upholstery maker and suppliers during the week-long fall furniture market that was held in High Point, North Carolina in October 2006. Upholstery makers had a strong middle but a slow beginning and end at market, with the busiest days Tuesday through Thursday. Buyers who toured upholstery showrooms saw many new products, probably more than the usual array of introductions.
