ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the plan of Methanex to build a dimethyl ether plant in Chile. Although Wendy Bach, Methanex's investor relations manager, said it was too early to speculate on the plant's capacity, there are speculations it could have a capacity of 500,000 tonnes/year. Methanex begun negotiating with Chile's ENAP over the project.
