Fall Foliage Tours

LaManna, Bernadette; Walsh, Mary Ellen
October 2006
New York State Conservationist;Oct2006, Vol. 61 Issue 2, p12
The author recommends several places in the New York State that offer beautiful foliage and scenery and considered as prime vacation destinations during the Fall season. For decades, even centuries, Long Island lighthouses guided passing ships. Now they serve as destinations themselves as travelers seek the nearly two dozen lighthouses found here. From Medina, home to the largest freight depot museum in the country, go north to the Great Lakes Seaway Trail, a national scenic byway.
