ABSTRACT
The article considers the amendments proposed by the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for Rule G-14, Reports of Sales or Purchases. The proposed rule change would expand the definition of list offering price transactions to include inter-dealer takedown transactions and require the reporting of those transactions as list offering price/takedown transactions on the first day of trading of a new issue under MSRB Rule G-14 RTRS Procedures.
