ABSTRACT
The article reports that gay couple Mitja Blazic and Niki Kern, who became the first same-sex couple to enter into a civil partnership in Ljubljana, Slovenia, complained about a stipulation that bars couples from having guests at the ceremony. The law allows only the couple and the registrant to be present at the ceremony. GLBT rights groups hope that the government would one day enact full marriage rights.
