Echo Magazine;10/19/2006, Vol. 18 Issue 3, p25
The article reports that parents of students protested against Peter Sage, a second-grade teacher at the Interdisciplinary Downtown School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who disclosed to his students that he is gay. School principal Laura Bloomberg refused the parents' request to let their children transfer to a different class because of the incident. Sage was prompted to write a letter to explain his action to the students' parents.
