ABSTRACT
The article reports on the law signed by South Dakota Governor Mike Rounds which bans all abortions in the state. The ban included no provision for rape or incest, or to protect the health of the pregnant woman and only a narrow exception to prevent the death of the woman. Women's rights supporters are organizing to reverse the law and aims to make an argument for protecting the health and respect the need of the woman to plan their families.
