The article focuses on the involvement of Michael Kollender, executive vice president at Ryan Beck & Co. Inc., in local charities in New Jersey. Kollender considered his involvement in charities as opportunities where he can be effective. He has been a member of the board of the Jewish Community Center, and co-founded the "Play for the Kids" golf and tennis tournament. He is also a member of the board of the Montammy Golf Club Charitable Foundation.
