The article focuses on the Lone Star Paralyzed Veterans America (LSPVA) Honor Guard as it continues to provide services to families of fallen comrades in the U.S. It considers part of its mission is letting the public know more about serving in the military. It is reaching out with the public and able to communicate with the public about injuries and living with injuries. According to Glendon Bentley, LSPVA Executive Director, the community appreciation for the guard has grown immensely.
