ABSTRACT
The article features the Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit and ecumenical Christian housing ministry in the U.S. that is dedicated to eliminate substandard housing and homelessness in the country. Habitat builds and rehabilitates houses with the help of homeowner families through volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials. Moreover, each affiliate of the organization coordinates with its program like fund raising, partner family selection and nurturing.
