ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study of the left ventricular dysfunction in a group of asymptomatic normotensive women with Turner's syndrome (TS). Tissue and conventional Doppler echocardiography were used throughout the study to show that diastolic dysfunction is present in asymptomatic normotensive, non-obese and insulin-sensitive women with TS who were not taking any drugs other than hormone replacement therapy.
