ABSTRACT
The article reports developments surrounding the U.S. leverage loan market. The strong performance of the leveraged loan market can be partly attributed to the surge of large-scale leveraged buyouts in the country. Another factor that contributing to the overall performance of the market is the steady reliance on second-lien notes.
