ABSTRACT
The article profiles Artie Shaw, a former jazz musician in the U.S. who has shifted to competitive shooting of high-powered target rifles. Shaw is being given an inside chance to eventually get a national bench-rest title in rifle shooting. Shaw has realized that he is happier with guns than with music. He also likes fishing, chopping wood, driving sports cars, farming, and shopping.
