ABSTRACT
The article describes trends in women's fashion in New York as of March 1962. Hats are popular among women which require artful proportion, made from summer straws in yellows and tans and are much wider than one can possibly wear from ear to ear. A certain designer,, Mr. John has created a sombrero which are said to be far better than those done by Yves St. Laurent in Paris, France. Mr. John also designed hats in chiffon that are hand-tied and dyed with pin dots in contrasting color.
