ABSTRACT
The article focuses on port wine stains which are considered as a progressive ectasia of normal vasculature instead of proliferative lesions. 50% of patients with mental retardation or epilepsy manifest deeper malformations during the first year of their life. There is an improvement in the technology that destroys these lesions such as the emergence of lasers.
