ABSTRACT
The article reports on the positive impression of Karl Burkhardt, president of the middle Franconia Government District, with the religious progress in the U.S. According to Burkhardt, he was particularly impressed with the use of educational units for affairs other than religious education purposes, lighting of the churches at night and the bulletin boards inviting the public to services.
