ABSTRACT
The article presents two musical events held in New York City in March 1962. The first one was the opera entitled "The Golem" by Abraham Ellstein that was presented by the New York City Opera as its opening event for the spring season. The second, is an orchestra concert from William Steinberg that was performed at the Carnegie Hall.
