ABSTRACT
The author reflects on issues concerning conservation and the song "Makin' Whoopee." The Arabian oryx and Javan rhinoceros are among the animals that are threatened with extinction. It is believed that only one metaphysician was left in Manhattan, New York. There has been a mistake in the recording of one part of the song's old lyric.
