ABSTRACT
The article reports on the closing of the racing season in New York. The attendance totaled 5,731,686. Also, the pari-mutuel handle was $544,-251,460. However, Aqueduct, Belmont, and Saratoga had more Class C and Class D horses than B-plus ones. But a number of Class A horses were present as well, though not that many.
