Chagall Windows

December 1961
New Yorker;12/9/1961, Vol. 37 Issue 43, p44
The article discusses the author's experience at the Metropolitan Museum in 1961. Because of the long wait, they noticed the stained glass windows at the adjacent Museum of Modern Art which was designed by Marc Chagall for a synagogue. This led them to also view the Saint Thomas Church, the Cromwell Pharmacy and the Meyer Brothers' parking garage. They encountered the French couple, Charles and Brigitte Marq who manufactured the windows at their Saint Just-sur-Loire glassworks factory.
