ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's experience during the winter activities in New York in November 1956. He went to the Statler Hilton to keep warm and came across several mechanical engineers attending the annual winter meeting of the Society of Mechanical Engineers. The engineers invited the authors to attend sessions where papers were being presented however other activities caught their attention. They decided to watch National Winter Sports Show.
