LACERA Doles Out $1B in Mandates

The article reports that the Los Angeles County Employees' Retirement Association has hired firms in its search for domestic equity enhanced index managers. The search is due to the adjustments made to the pension system's manager roster. Principal investment officer Juan Almaguer said that LACERA has given $300 million to both Goldman Sachs Asset Management and INTECH, $150 million to Twin Capital Management and $250 million to Western Asset Management.
