ABSTRACT
The article reports on the approval given by the board of California's Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System to three new alternative investments at its August 8, 2006 meeting. According to Wayne Ige, investment and cash management officer with the plan, Pension Consulting Alliance assisted the board in selecting Nogales Investors Fund II for an investment of up to $10 million. The components of the fund's asset allocation are cited.
