ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the assistance offered by Stuart Levine, a former trustee for the Teachers' Retirement System (TRS) of the State of Illinois, in a federal investigation of Illinois state government. He was accused of being involved in a kick-back scheme during his time as a governor appointed member of the TRS board. After pleading not guilty, he had since agreed to work with investigators.
