ABSTRACT
The article reports on the search by California's Santa Barbara County Employees' Retirement System for a replacement for Pension Consulting Alliance. According to Oscar Peters, the plan's administrator, the move is part of the board's periodic due diligence process. At its August 9, 2006 meeting, the board also discussed an upcoming actuarial request for proposal, which will be conducted before the consultant search.
