The article discusses the resignation of Milwaukee County Employees' Retirement System Walter Lanier as chairman. According to Lanier, personal and professional demands on his time are the reasons for his resignation. County executive Scott Walker, who appointed Lanier in 2003, will also be the one to appoint Lanier's replacement.
