The article reports on the action taken by the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois (TRS) to terminate two domestic equity managers, and its plan to invest in international real estate. According to TRS spokeswoman Eva Goltermann, Great Lakes Advisors and Holland Capital was terminated from a $162 million large-capitalization value account for organizational and performance issues at the firm. The TRS is looking into adding an international real estate manager to its portfolio.
