ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs relevant to the television broadcasting, production equipment industry compiled as of September 1999. The Plasmaco subsidiary of Matsushita launched a 60-inch high definition Panasonic television with plasma display at the Society of Information Display Symposium. JVC sold its D-9 Digital-S format recording equipment to the Royal School of Artillery. The Ealling Studios is being sold by NFTS.
