ABSTRACT
The article relates the author's experience in attending the 1961 National Notions and Novelty Show held at the New York Trade Show Building in New York City. The event turned out to be rather esoteric, consisting predominantly of baubles, buttons, collapsible closets, polydynamic coat hangers and the likes.
