ABSTRACT
The article features several fashion merchandisers in New York City. Saks Fifth Avenue offers a coat of horse-blanket wool plaid with a hidden, off-center closing that is managed by black buttons. Lord & Taylor is selling two-piece outfits for weekend trips such as sleeveless, boat-neck dresses, sheaths and collarless overblouses. Peck & Peck can fix up reversible sort of polo coats, dapper three-quarter raincoats of wool, pullover and cardigan sweaters.
