The article presents the six speakers who discoursed about the principles of clinical trials at a joint meeting of the Section of Epidemiology & Community Medicine and the Royal Statistical Society Medical Section on January 26, 1982 in Great Britain. Among these professionals were epidemiologist Tom Meade who discussed on the importance of understanding between clinicians and statisticians, and professor Peter Armitage described the crossover trial.
