ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the stay of doctor Robert Carneiro and his wife Gertrude Dole with the Amahuaca tribe in Montaña, Peru. Among the items brought by the couple are a revolver and a portable burglar alarm. It is said that Amahuacas recognized some photographs featured in "Natural History Magazine" of their friends and relations from other tribes.
