ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's experience of losing his voice because of an operation. He conversed with other people by writing his message on a paper. He completely forgot the sound of his voice, not even an echo remained in his memory of the words he used up in the course of the years. He suffered minor frustration in helping people in the subways and streets who need direction.
