ABSTRACT
The article presents a forecast on the opening of the Philharmonic Hall of Lincoln for the Performing Arts in New York City in September 1962 that was published in the "Times" periodical. Concertgoers are expected to sit beneath a ceiling of acoustical panels. The seats at the center will be angled for an obstructed view of the entire orchestra.
