ABSTRACT
The article focuses on bridal gown designs in several bridal shops in New York City. A gown being offered at Rosette Pennington is made of white organdie banquet cloth with appliqués of organdie butterflies and long-stemmed flowers. Puffed Henry VIII sleeved gown at Jay Thorpe's is considered its most arresting attribute of a white peau de soie.
