Let There Be Light

March 1961
New Yorker;3/11/1961, Vol. 37 Issue 4, p33
The author relates his experience on engaging in a tour with architects Edgar Tafel and Alexander Robertson at the First Presbyterian Church in New York City. The purpose of the tour was to check the possibility of casting more light into the church from the apexes of the Gothic bays than is provided by the four chandeliers which are the principal source of illumination. The chandeliers came from the Madison Square Presbyterian Church according to Tafel.
