ABSTRACT
In this article the author shares a story of his friend who wanted to cash a check, for $60, at the branch of the Bankers Trust Co. in Madison Avenue, New York City in 1960. The teller was not able to give the total amount asked by his friend instead, he was just given $25, because there was a blizzard during that time which consequently, affected the operation of the vault for storage of money. However, his friend was thankful when the operators of the vault arrived and solved the problem.
