The article relates the author's experiences in joining a contest by the Wheat Flour Institute of Chicago, Illinois held at the Park Lane Hotel in New York. The concept of the contest was to make variations of sandwiches under a promotion program created by the Institute. The winner of the contest was Atlasta Good Beef Sandwich, followed by Theodore's Sandwich and Creamy Nutty Tuna Sandwich.
